California is the third-largest state in the country, and it has plenty of attractions for visitors and locals alike. These are some of the most well-known landmarks and tourist attractions and why they’re such awesome spots to visit!
Yosemite National Park
Yosemite National Park is a testament to the beauty of California. From gorgeous rock formations, beautiful waterfalls, and clear water to the deep forests that feel like you could easily get lost in.
Yosemite National Park is breathtaking, and you’ll want to explore it time and time again. Half-dome, one of the most famous landmarks in California, can be found here, as well as the Yosemite Falls and El Capitan. One visit isn’t enough. You won’t want to leave!
The Woodlands Children’s Museum
This Children’s Museum has interactive exhibits and imaginative play designed for young children to explore with their families. With hundreds of shows, lots of options for play, and seasonal fun, there are tons of ways for children to learn not only how to access their creativity but also how to communicate and be inventive.
This is an awesome location for any family that’s traveling together and is a reason several families consider stopping and looking at Woodland apartments.
Disneyland
Disneyland is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the world. This location is a fantastic mix of endless entertainment, delicious food, and family-friendly environments that make it perfect for anyone. Although it can be expensive, especially if you’re going with several people, it’s worth it for all the nostalgia and fun the park can bring.
If you wanted to take this trip further, you could consider staying in the Disneyland Resorts, including hotels, restaurants, shopping, and other fun. The parks are the main star, but there’s a lot more to do while you’re here!
Death Valley National Park
If you want to visit the lowest land in the country: come out to Death Valley. This dessert is named Death Valley because of its incredible heat and a seemingly endless array of sand and rock. The best places to visit are the beautiful dunes near Stovepipe Wells and Dante’s View.
Although most of the park can be seen by car and on foot, a lot of it is best reached by four-wheelers so that you can head deeper without worrying about your vehicle getting stuck. Make sure to pack plenty of water! This is a destination you won’t want to be caught without it.
Lake Tahoe
If you want to enjoy a day out and see nature and wildlife instead of traffic and busy cities: it’s time to visit Lake Tahoe. With bright blue water and gorgeous mountains surrounding it, this beautiful lake feels like stepping into paradise.
The countless lovely trees surrounding the lake make the area feel old and quiet, and the waters themself are serene and peaceful. Many love to kayak, hike, and even camp in the area, seeing it as the perfect destination to connect to the outdoors.
I am always looking for the perfect escape, the perfect paradise, the kind of place that tosses your cares into the sea. Fortunately, I have discovered many! I created this site to show you where to go and how to get there. My goal is to show you that Paradise is only a plane ticket (or boat ride) away. I have inspired many others to travel and to create a better life. I am available for inspirational speaking, coaching, writing, travel planning, and photography.
