A themed destination park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, straddles in two parks –Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios, both located at Universal Orlando Resort, Florida. The one in Universal studios is called the ‘Diagon Alley’ and the other one in Islands of Adventure is called ‘Hogsmeade.’ Explore a Universal Studios vacation with a fun and magical adventure.

Exchange Your Muggle Money at Gringotts
Just how Hagrid takes Harry to Gringotts at the beginning, start your journey by visiting the Gringotts bank. Located in Diagon Alley, it has a fire-breathing dragon on top, and goblins are sitting inside just as depicted in the story.
Exchange your muggle’s money for Gringotts’s bank money here and later use it within the Universal parks. There is also an exciting roller coast ride called ‘Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts.’ The ride has 3D projection screens all along – Voldemort and Bellatrix chase you through the vaults. So, this will give you just the right adrenaline rush.
The Ride of Forbidden Journey
This is another ride that can make you feel like a real wizard, just like Harry. Located inside Hogwarts Castle, this is a motion simulation ride which makes you feel as if you’re following Harry around on a broomstick. Also, on your way, you dodge dragons and dementors.
This is one signature attraction created for Potter fans to experience the thrill of riding on a broom and is sure to leave everyone ecstatic!
Explore the Shops
Just like Rowling’s depiction of the magical shopping street, both parks have a good number of captivating stores that will hook you completely. Their compelling set up will make you experience different elements of Harry’s life as closely as possible.
From Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes joke shop, Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlor, Madame Malkin’s robe shop to Ollivander’s wand shop here, you’ll enjoy every bit of your experience. Also, you can carry back your Potter love by buying attractive souvenirs and t-shirts from these fascinating stores.
Get an Interactive Wand
Experience real magic in your hands by causing the wand to bring rain, make feathers fly, and doing other exciting things.
There are fountains, statue, and interactive shop windows where you can bring things to life with your magical wand. You will feel overjoyed when just at the flick of your wand, you’ll be able to move or awaken stuff to life. This will make you feel like you belong to Potter’s oh-so-magical world.
After A Magical Dose, Grab A Bite
‘Leaky Cauldron’ in Diagon Alley and, ‘Three Broomsticks’ attached with Hog’s Head Pub in Hogsmeade sell great British pub food along with Harry Potter-inspired drinks and beers. One must have drink here is Butterbeer, which is loved by all visitors. You can also try drinks like Pumpkin Juice, Otter’s Orange Juice, Tongue Tying Lemon Squash along with other assorted beverages to refresh yourself.
To treat your sweet tooth, you can visit Honeydukes and Florean Fortescue parlor which sell wizarding candy and ice cream respectively.
